In Her Eyes Page 11

It seemed like it from the stuff he was spewing a little bit ago.

  He glared at me.

I raised a brow haughtily and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Because I love you, sweet wife," he ground out harshly, his glare firmly in place. "You're mine and I won't let you go. You make me happy and I won't live without you," he stated, quite eloquently to my frazzled mind, even if he was glaring the whole time and sounded totally pissed off.

Like I said, I'll take what I can get.

I grinned and grabbed his face, kissing the shit out of him.

"I love you too," I mumbled against his lips and claimed his mouth again.

By the time someone cleared their throat to get our attention, we were wrapped around each other like anacondas during mating season.

"Why did you leave old One-eye here for, if you're so happy to see him, 'fair Penny'?" William asked, somewhat mystified.

"I heard you two talking about me and how Ben didn't want me and..." Ben stopped me with a finger to my lips.

"That's why you left? No other reason? You heard Will say I didn't want you and that's why you wouldn't stay?" Ben asked me intently, his glare now a frown.

I nodded and Ben's glare came back full force, but this time it was aimed at William.

"What?! Don't go all angry eye on me, Bennard! I was just trying to help you realize you cared about her... I know you didn't feel that way. I was yanking your chain to get you to admit your feelings for her."

He hooked his thumb at me.

"How was I supposed to know she could hear me? I didn't know about the mating stone, and I didn't think I was talking that loud," William defended himself.

  "Mating stone?" I asked, puzzled.

"This..." Ben said, picking up the necklace I was wearing, rubbing it, "...this is a mating stone. It bound us together when we consummated our marriage and it gave you a piece of me, so now we can be together forever."

  "Really?" I asked hopefully.

  He nodded.

I leapt at him again and kissed my man.

Sedrig chuckled happily from behind me somewhere and Ben broke the kiss, grinning at me like an idiot.

  My idiot! I thought possessively.

"If we'd have known all of this shit, we could have just knocked on the damned door... then again... it wouldn't have been nearly as fun," Greniv muttered thoughtfully.

I glanced behind me and just now remembered Vivienne.

  Whoopsie.

"Oh, Vivi, sorry, this is Ben!"

Vivi glared at me from her perch on the big, red haired dude's lap, his hand still covering her mouth.

He was a very thick man, whatever it was he is.

He looked like a bruiser with his harsh face, broken 'one to many times' nose, thick everything, it looked like, and wild red hair.

He had a huge grin on his face as he looked down at my sister in his lap, white teeth gleaming as he acted like a kid at Christmas.

  Hmm… Should I be worried?

"He's not going to hurt her, is he?" I whispered quietly, but apparently everyone still heard me.

  They all chuckled.

"Sedrig wouldn't harm her, he's like a big old teddy bear. Aren't you, Seddy?" Green called out a little too sweetly from the driver's seat.

"You can let go of her mouth now, Sedrig. I think it's safe," Ben snorted.

"Okay, but I'm not setting her down yet. I like holding my little piece of sunshine," he said happily and gave Vivi a bounce on his knee.

  She grunted into his hand.

He jumped and then laughed at her, gently nuzzling her cheek with his.

"Don't bite, my Queen. I might decide I like it rough and I give as good as I get."

He laughed boisterously, his purple eyes twinkling with mirth.

William guffawed at the scene playing out before us and Vivi froze, her eyes about bugging out of her head.

"Oh, ho, ho, Sedrig has a girlfriend," William sang and Vivi glared daggers at him, hand wiggling free to flip him off.

Sedrig released her mouth, chuckling, and she glanced back at me.

"What on earth have you been doing, Penny?!!" she shrieked. "A Cyclops, a Troll, a Goat Boy and a nerd!

"Hey!" William and Green shouted at the same time.

"I'm sorry," Vivi apologized, looking at the back of Green's head.

"I don't know what you are and nerd seemed the most accurate, based on my short observances of you."

  Ben burst out laughing.

Sedrig grinned and Green huffed out, "Even her apologies are insulting. I wouldn't waste my time on such a prickly cactus, Sedrig. Find yourself a warm woman and dump that one."

"Watch what you say about my Queen, Greniv," Sedrig warned, his face quickly turning sober, a hint of steel in his voice as he spoke.

"My apologies," Green murmured. "I didn't really mean it." He sighed. "My knee is killing me and I'm ready to call it a night," he admitted, keeping his eyes on the road as he drove.

  I smiled to myself.

Guess Greniv was the one I’d whacked with the poker.

Serves his right for scaring us, I thought, feeling justified.

They're paying to replace the door too!

At least they locked up before they left.

"What about me, you called me a Goat boy?" William demanded.

"Well... I don't like you... and if the shoe fits..." Vivi said haughtily, shrugging, smirking at a glaring William.

Sedrig boomed out a loud laugh and hugged Vivi to him.

"My Queen is feisty!" he chuckled.

"I am not your Queen, Troll! Go find a bridge and get lost!" she muttered fiercely.

Sedrig burrowed his face into Vivi's golden locks, a deep happy rumble coming from the brute of a Troll.

Vivi tensed, but didn't push him away, glancing over her shoulder at him curiously, goose flesh breaking out all over her skin.

"My queen has a sharp tongue. I like it." Sedrig grinned and bounced Vivi on his knee again.

"Quit that! You're jargling me, ya Big Oaf!" Vivi growled from her precarious perch.

He immediately stopped and placed her squarely on his lap, his arms banding around her so she was stuck there.

She sighed and looked at me, rolling her eyes at the over exuberant Troll.

"You're taking this awfully well, Viv," I said, studying her carefully.

"Yeah, well… I've, uh... dealt with Parakind before... I dated a lake monster in high school," she admitted and shrugged, like it was no big deal.

"Wha...? You did? Oh! Oh, you mean Farren, from the swim team. Really?" I asked, surprised, remembering one of her few love interests in high school.

He was the only guy who could possibly be para anything.

The rest were just too... way too human.

Farren had an abnormal obsession with water and fish, I remembered.

So, that would mean Vivi's known for a while then...

She knew all about this kind of stuff, but had neglected to tell me.

"You know," I said thoughtfully, "I always thought there was something different about him... and he always beat the pants off of everyone else at the swim meets," I murmured, thinking aloud.

Viv nodded her head, agreeing with me.

"But you never told me, Viv, I thought we told each other everything..." I murmured quietly, hurt lacing my tone.

"I'm sorry, Pen, I was just trying to protect you, you know?" she apologized, but it didn’t sound like a true apology.

  I nodded in acceptance anyways.

She glanced between Ben and myself meaningfully, raising a brow, nodding her head at us.

“I promise not to get upset about you not telling me about your Cyclops either,” she quipped cheekily.

  Oops, guess I didn’t...

  Touché, madam.

“I didn’t think you’d have believed me anyways,” I told her with just as much cheek.

  “Truce?” she offered.

  “Truce.”

>   I nodded my head in understanding and we all talked to Vivi about Mordenne and its occupants.

The men answered all of her questions as best as they could, from what they knew.

I must admit, Sedrig really knows his stuff when it comes to his realm and knowledge of creatures.

  He's one smart cookie.

We pulled up into the Lupenstein's driveway and everyone piled out.

Sedrig was still holding a disgruntled Vivienne in his arms as he made his way to the passenger's seat of his van.

He plopped Vivi in and buckled her up, then came around the other side and hopped in.

"You have time to spend with your wife, Cyclops. I'll take my Queen of the sunshine home for you," he promised, a huge, shit eating grin on his face.

"You sure?" I asked, peeking into her window.

"I can handle myself," she assured me, giving the Troll a warning look.

  He just grinned and winked.

"Bye, Viv! Love ya!" I called.

  "Love you too!"

I waved good bye to Vivi as they pulled out and drove off.

"He is going to take her home, right?" I asked Ben worriedly, looking off to where I could still, but barely, make out the tail lights of his van.

"That's what he said," Ben responded, but there was something about the way he said it, that had me second guessing him.

I looked at him dubiously and he chuckled, pulling me towards his work truck.

"Don't worry so much, little wife. Sedrig won't let anything happen to her and Trolls always keep their word. It's an ethics code they have or something," he promised and I felt myself relaxing a little.

  Bennard

We pulled up in front of the house and I shut the engine off, hurrying to get out of the truck and around to Penelope's side before she could get out.

I picked her up when she started to climb down, one arm under her knees, the other under her back.

"We're going to do this right," I told her and my heart filled at the sound of her giggles.

I was still mad at her for not talking to me first, instead of just taking off, but I'll deal with that later.

Much later, I told myself as I carried my lucky Penny into the house.

I carried her straight to the bedroom and laid her down gently.

"Get undressed now, wife, or I'm going to rip them off of you," I growled out impatiently, motioning to the robe and pajamas she was wearing.

We both got naked in record time and I didn't waste a minute ravishing my sweet little wife.

I kept my little wife up most of the night and into the wee hours of the morning, showing her just how much I love her, want her, need her and as an added bonus... If she's too tired to move... she can't get a wild hair up her bum and leave me again.

I grinned at myself in satisfaction as we laid there, entangled in the sheets, our bodies entwined in a satisfied, satiated heap as we panted for breath together.

"Quit smiling like that," Penelope warned, narrowing her eyes at me from her exhausted slump on my chest.

  I chuckled at her.

  She glared daggers at me.

"I'm tired, caveman, and I am going to sleep this time. No amount of your magical foreplay or coaxing words will get me to change my mind this time! So, don't even think about it!" she growled at me.

I rolled over, sending her tumbling off of my chest.

"Whatever you say, little wife," I acquiesced, pulling my indignant wife into my chest.

Her back was to my front as I cuddled her close, helping in hiding the grin I couldn't get off of my face, even if I tried.

  Penelope

I woke up just as a tongue rasped against my clit and my still sensitive body, from the love fest last night, leapt to life at all the attention.

I rubbed my hands through his hair caressingly, my heart rate picking up as I grew wet and excited.

He added two fingers and I moaned out my pleasure, my body quickly building towards that precipice, just about ready to go over, but then it suddenly stopped.

I jerked at the loss of contact and looked down to see what was wrong.

Why the hell did he stop! I was so close!

"You didn't actually think you could run away from me and there wouldn't be any consequences, Penny, my love, did you?" he asked seriously and leaned down to attack my clit again.

I shrieked at the sudden onslaught, his tongue and lips making me squirm against him.

Just like the last time, though, he stopped when he sensed I was near orgasm.

I screeched at him, but he pinned me down, his body blanketing mine as he held me down.

"Say, 'I'll never leave you, Ben'," Ben demanded

  I frowned at him.

  So bossy!

"No," I snapped, irritated at his high handed tactics.

  He growled

"I can't promise you anything." I shrugged, acting like he'd just asked me to give him the moon. "Say you'll never go nutty and bust down a door."

I can mess with him too!

  "What?" he barked at me.

"You have a tendency to be an asshole, husband, and you never know... I might need to... Aaack! Uuuumm..." I babbled as he reared up and rammed his cock into me, thrusting and pumping into me like a man possessed.

  Oh, god... yes!!

He knows I love it when he's like this, it makes me wild with want for him.

I gripped his shoulders and held on for the ride, my body humming with enthusiasm, writhing underneath him, meeting him thrust for pounding thrust.

He stopped suddenly and I wanted to scream at him.

Before I could open my mouth to berate him though, he spoke up first.

"Say it, Penny. My lucky Penny. Say you won't ever leave me, promise me, little wife. I need to hear you say it," he ordered.

I paused and looked at his face, really looked at him.

Underneath the caveman facade he was putting on, I saw worry and a little fear.

My big, bad, Cyclops husband was afraid that I would leave him again.

I melted at the thought and reached up to run my hand caressingly down his face, looking him directly in his eye.

I told my husband exactly what he needed to hear and I meant every word.

"I'll never leave you, Bennard Ochulles. I love you and you're the husband of my heart, as well as on paper." I smiled at him and he grinned at me triumphantly.

He kissed me sweetly, his tongue sneaking in after a few minutes, turning it hot and heavy fast.

We quickly picked up where we'd left off and he slipped his hand between our bodies, pressing down on my clit, quickly bringing me to orgasm as I called out his name.

We climaxed together, Ben shouting out unintelligibly as he reached his own peak and came hard, his body trembling slightly in the aftermath.

We laid there like that in a sweaty heap, him on top of me, my hands running through his hair and down his back lovingly as he slid down a little to pillow his head on my breasts.

  "Mmm... love you, wife."

A small smile graced my face as I lay there, content and happy.

My husband loves me! Really loves me and like he said 'he's never letting me go'.

I full out grinned as he slumped and started to snore softly against my breasts.

I giggled at his muffled bear snore and nudged him so he would roll off of me. I snuggled up next to my tuckered out Cyclops and pulled the blankets up over both of us.

I snuggled down next to him and let his steady heart beat lull me.

And they say dreams don't come true...

I have what I've always wanted, right here in front of me.

A man who loves me, for me, and a future to look forward to with him.

It may not be exactly how I would have planned it, but it works for me and I wouldn't change my caveman Cyclops for anything, I thought as I drifted off to sleep.

  Bennard

“Oh! They’re so precious!” Penelope cooed as she fussed over the tiny infants.
And they look just like their mama!”

“You really think so?” Katarina asked as she eyed her four precious newborn baby girls.

Alfred was holding a little dark haired bundle that I felt was a true doppelganger of Katarina. Bianca, they'd named her, but the other three looked like a mix of both parents.

The smallest of the bunch, the one sound asleep in her bassinet right now, had a thick thatch of blondish red hair on her head that matched her daddy’s to a ‘T’ and big blue eyes.

I believe that one is Deirdre.

I eyed Alfred as he stroked his daughter’s soft cheek gently and gave everyone else a huge, shit eating grin.

“You know you’re totally screwed, right?” I leaned in and informed the new daddy.

Alfred frowned over at me, at a loss as to what I was getting at.

“Four beautiful babes. They’re going to turn into girls and then teenagers and that’s when the boys are gonna start sniffin’ around... you’re completely screwed, wolf boy.”

Alfred didn’t seem to like my particular train of thought and scowled as he contemplated the idea.

“Like hell!” he growled out a little too loud.

The baby in his arms woke up, startled, and started to fuss.

“Alfred! You’re scaring the baby!” Katarina said fiercely and held out her arms for him to hand the squalling infant over.

“Well, they aint datin’, ever! And that’s final!” Alfred commanded in a growling voice as he gently placed a kiss atop baby Bianca’s head and carefully handed her over to her mother.

Katarina sighed heavily at her mate’s antics, but grinned when he leaned over and kissed her too, still managing to grumble about horny, little, teenage boys in between kisses to his mate.

“I think you have a ways to go before you have to worry about that,” Penelope said on a laugh.

She smiled at Alfred reassuringly, but gave me the stink eye when she eventually looked over at me.

I gave her an innocent smile and shrugged as if to say, ‘What? I didn’t do anything’.
